In an interview, Spence talked about a sparring session in the “Dog House,” which is Mayweather’s gym. He was pumped up by the crowd surrounding him and talked about how focused he was during the spar. After the spar, Mayweather told him, “You alright for a b*tch,” which made Spence hungry for more sparring. Spence told Mayweather to gear up again and said, “We can go till somebody drops” and sparred the champ for 8-9 minutes.
Mayweather held multiple world titles across five weight classes and retired with a perfect 50-0 record, making him one of the most successful and skilled defensive fighters in boxing history.
