The desired split put forth by Top Rank is 80-20 and both the parties seem to have agreed to the purse split. The purse is for the fight between the current WBC titleholder and the interim champion, Dillian Whyte.

Tyson Fury of Manchester has an amazing record of (31-0-1) and recently beat Deontay Wilder (42-2-1) with a knockout at the T-Mobile arena in Carl Moretti, vice president of operations for Top Rank petitioned for an 80/20 split to be given to the fight, in line with the drastic payments earned by the two boxers over their many last fights. The request is starkly in opposition to the orthodox 55/45 split between a reigning WBC champion and interim contender.

“The purse split was a very arduous process,” comments the President of WBC on the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte
