“Ladies and gentlemen, the bank robbery has commenced” – Jake Paul reacts to Tommy Fury accepting his bet

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

Tommy Fury has accepted Jake Paul’s bet. The YouTube star offered the British boxer $1 million to fight him in a boxing match, after several back-and-forths in recent times. A fight between the two might be happening anytime soon, and judging by what Fury recently told Ariel Helwani, December, this year might be a possibility.

Taking to Instagram, Tommy Fury posted a story where he can be seen accepting Jake Paul’s offer, while maintaining that the YouTuber had no chance of defeating him. Fury also warned ‘The Problem Child’ that he would be leaving out on a stretcher, following the fight.

Paul then reacted to Fury accepting his offer with several stories on social media. An eccentric Paul could be seen laughing hysterically while exclaiming, “Ladies and gentlemen, the bank robbery has commenced.” He followed it up with a number of short clips on Instagram as well.

Both Tommy Fury and Jake Paul are undefeated in their respective professional boxing careers. Fury is currently 7-0 in his professional boxing career. Having made his debut in December 2018, he has not put a foot wrong so far. He is coming off a unanimous decision win over Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor, in the undercard of Paul vs Woodley.

Paul, on the other hand, made his debut in January 2020. He first took on YouTuber AnEsonGib and earned a first-round TKO win. He then faced Nate Robinson and knocked the lights out on the ex-Basketballer. It was only after this that Paul began taking on fighters (not boxers though). Since then he has beaten Ben Askren and more recently, Tyron Woodley.

With talks of a rematch against Woodley also looming large, who do you think Paul will be fighting next?
