Gervonta Davis is the talk of the town following his stunning victory against Rolando Romero. The two lightweight boxers vowed to put on a show for the fans and they sure didn’t disappoint.
Five-time world champion Gervonta Davis took on his rival Rolando Romero in the main event bout yesterday. The fight took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which is a very special place for ‘Tank’ Davis. Davis was defending his WBA lightweight title against the #1 contender.
The rivalry between the two stars was the highlight of this boxing match and the “Tank” made sure it put it to rest as he put Romero to sleep in the 6th round of the boxing match stunning the entire world with a highlight-reel finish. Davis and Romero went toe-to-toe for the first six rounds and even tried to get dirty inside the ring with their boxing technique.

WBO & IBO champion, Alycia Baumgardner was fully impressed by Davis’ counter left hand that put Rolly to sleep. “Timing is everything” “We love knockouts” wrote Alycia reacting to the amazing fight.
Like many fans, Jamel Herring was sure that Rolando had no idea where he was after meeting with that left hand of Gervonta Davis. “Ya know what. judging by that replay… I don’t think Rollies knew where he was at, or where he was going after that KO,” wrote Jamel.
