“I purposely did it,” Tyron Woodley reveals the secret behind his hoax “I love Jake Paul” tattoo

Tyron Woodley is going to face Jake Paul in a boxing rematch, and the fight will take place on 18th December at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay, Florida. This was a grudge match and Woodley lost the fight via a narrow split decision last time around.

He don’t want to leave any stone unturned in the rematch, and he prepared for this fight in the same manner. He has now promised to knock Jake out. Originally, Paul was supposed to face another young boxer, Tommy Fury, but he had to pull out from this fight because of a chest infection, and a broken rib.

Jake started his boxing journey by calling out the biggest star in the history of MMA, Conor McGregor. He issued a series of disrespectful callouts, but Conor choose to ignore him. Jake then landed a fight against Ben Askren, and he knocked him out in the very first round. He then faced Woodley and we all know how that one turned out.

Woodley was forced to get an “I Love Jake Paul” tattoo, and many people claimed he got a fake tattoo, Jake, however, accepted it, and Woodley neither denied nor accepted the rumor. Now he has spoken about the tattoo for the first time during their recent press conference.

I don’t want with his name for the rest of my life,” Tyron Woodley on his “I Love Jake Paul” tattoo

Woodley states he did actually get the tattoo, but it’s now washing up, and he did that on purpose, “It’s almost gone. I purposely did it, kind of like trolling the troll,” Woodley said. “Anybody who has a tattoo on the inside of their hand, or a tattoo artist knows. I did it on purpose. I put it on the finger that means the opposite of love, I put it on that finger, but I knew it was going to wear down.”

He said, “Taking showers, washing your hands, boxing, battle ropes, turf … I don’t want to walk around with his name on me for the rest of my life. I agreed not to have it removed, I agreed to have it permanent. But I never felt I lost the fight anyway, so I wasn’t super psyched about getting it. It wasn’t something I mapped out and had all this work into it.”
