“My legacy in combat sports is cemented,” Tyron Woodley believes he will be a legend regardless of his result against Jake Paul

Tyron Woodley
The former UFC Welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley is going to face Jake Paul in a rematch at the main event of the December 18th Showtime pay per view. Woodley is serving as a short-notice replacement in this boxing match as it was originally booked between Tommy Fury and Jake Paul. But Fury pulled his name due to injury and Tyron Woodley got the opportunity to settle the score with Paul.
Woodley made his professional boxing debut against Jake Paul this year and lost the match by the unanimous decision of the judges. That’s why stakes are really high for the former UFC Welterweight champion coming into this fight. But Tyron Woodley believes all this is auxiliary and nothing from this defines his legacy.
Talking about the same in his recent interview with TMZ Sports, Woodley says, “This is auxiliary, my legacy in combat sports is cemented, nothing I can do in this fight is going to make me better known for what I did in MMA and UFC. So all these things, if it can’t make me better, it also can’t take away. This is for me, this is something that excites me, something that gets me robbed up the fight, so I’m excited about going out there and beating up Jake on December 18th.”
“The only plan is to knock him out, so I feel like if I win every moment if I win every exchange if I win the counter fight if I win being at first, I feel the knockout is gonna come, and when I get the moment, everybody knows me, when I see blood when somebody shows me that they’re hurt, I usually go out at them.”
“I’ll put that sh*I in crypto,” Tyron Woodley reveals how he is going to spend his $500,000 bonus

Jake Paul placed a bet before this fight that he is going to give $500,000 to Tyron Woodley if he knocks him out in this boxing match. Woodley will be certainly looking to add this money to his purse and he even has a plan to invest this in crypto, but that doesn’t mean he is going to deviate from the basics and go headhunting in this fight.
Woodley continued, “I’m going to do things and set it up, that’s what I’m going to do in the entire fight and it becomes a victory by decision. Of course, I want the knockout for sure but that’s what I’m really hunting for, a little extra Christmas money ain’t going to hurt nothing into some crypto and make you sure I’m going to meet my NFC that’s coming out as well. But I’m not going to be silly, I’m going to use my years of experience to win this fight.”
