Dillian Whyte talks about Tyson Fury sparring session
Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte is edging closer and the rivalry between the two is also tensing up quite well for an interesting boxing match. A media day involving Tyson is always a feisty one but things get interesting when Fury is paired against a long-time foe in Whyte.
The much-awaited boxing match between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte has finally been made and the fight is set to take place at the Wembley Stadium in London, England on April 23rd. This fight will not only be a battle between a WBC heavyweight champion and an interim WBC champ, it is also the battle between two old sparring partners.
Tyson and Dillian’s history dates way back and there still needs to be some things cleared about their past. Both the fighters have found mutual ground in agreeing that they sparred several times but Tyson and Dillian have two different winners from their sparring sessions in the past. Leading up to the fight in Wembley stadium, Fury and Whyte attended the media day hosted by Top Rank Boxing on their YouTube channel.
In the media conference call, a reporter asked Whyte about what actually happened, and the boxer from Brixton tells the media the answer would be best answered by Fury himself. “Ask Tyson Fury. He says he is an earnest man, he says he is a straightforward man and he is this, he is that,” said Whyte sarcastically.

Dillian Whyte asks Tyson Fury about his promised donations to charity
After taking a dig at Fury for lying about the sparring sessions, Whyte also questioned if the Gypsy King actually donated his earnings from the first Deontay Wilder fight to charity, as he promised. “Just like the same way we are waiting to find, what charity the 7 million pounds that he gave off the Wilder fight. We are still waiting to find out. He says he is a nice man so ask him and see what he answers,” said Whyte.
Dillian and Tyson have been going back and forth with the media about their sparring sessions in the past. While Whyte claims that Fury was in tears after he got knocked out by the Brixton man, the Gypsy King claims otherwise. According to Fury, every time the two sparred, Whyte was used as a “punching bag”.
