“Beer for sure”- Tyson Fury hopes to grab a drink with Dillian Whyte in the aftermath of their upcoming clash

Tyson Fury and Dillain Whyte recently met at the pre-fight press conference and answered several questions from the media. During the event, both the fighters had multiple discussions but it was very respectful and calm. Both Whyte and Fury don’t have any personal grudge against each other and are willing to put everything on the line for the belt.

An interaction like this might be a little different for Fury as in his last few pre-fight press conferences, he had to go all out against Deontay Wilder. The atmosphere between both the scenarios were totally opposite.

In the end, Fury and Whyte had a little scuff but it was natural as on 23 April both would try to knock out each other.

Ahead of the much-anticipated fight, while talking to ‘talkSPORT Boxing‘, Fury opens about meeting with Dillian Whyte and plans after the fight.

Fury shared that he felt good to meet Whyte after so many years. He was happy as well as surprised. The lineal champion explained that it is great that both of them are going to face each other for the belt and are getting paid a lot for this. In the end, Fury also revealed that after the fight it doesn’t matter who wins, he would like to take Whyte for a beer if the fighter agrees.

“It was good to see him after all these years. I was happily surprised to see him and it was good. It was good that me and him get to see each other and get to fight each other on a bigger stage and get paid a fortune to do it. What’s not to like? And listen if Dillian’s willing, no matter who wins the fight I’d still like to take him out for a beer. My treat. Beer for sure, it’s all about having a nice beer after the fight,” said Fury.

It seems like the mutual respect and sportsmanship between Whyte and Fury is massive. It will be interesting to see what is going to happen this Saturday at Wembley Stadium.
