Ahead of the most hyped fight of the year, rap superstar Drake has revealed that he is rooting for the defending champion, Tyson Fury. The Canadian popstar displayed his support by putting out a special video on Instagram where he openly conveyed his message to Fury ahead of the trilogy fight.
Fury then re-posted Drake’s video on Twitter alongside a caption that read “Trust me @drake once I’m done with him he’ll be running through Alabama with his woes! God Bless You G.”
What did Drake say to Tyson Fury ahead of the Deontay Wilder Fight?
Drizzy labeled The Gypsy King as the scariest man in boxing in his video and further added Tyson is the ‘most psycho’ man that he knows. “He’s mad in his head, but he has the purest heart, nicest guy” were the exact words that the 4 times Grammy winner had to say about Tyson Fury.
He then wished him all the luck ahead of the big fight and told him to go out there and enjoy, and continue the fantastic legacy he has built over the years. While Fury does head into the event as the absolute fan favorite to retain all his belts, Deontay Wilder will look to get a result in front of his home crowd.
Both the heavyweights were originally scheduled to fight for the third time in July but it got pushed back as Tyson Fury tested positive for the Covid-19.
All being said and done, the fight is expected to be one of the most exciting fights of all time in the heavyweight division and the fans are certainly expecting an interesting fight as Tyson Fury faces Deontay Wilder this Sunday.
