Jimmy Kimmel is a popular talk show host in Hollywood who invites numerous guests from different fields of work. One such guest was boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather. But to Floyd’s surprise, Kimmel had a confusing question for the boxer regarding Conor McGregor.

In an episode on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, the host brought up the topic of mentality that fighters work through before a fight. He asked Mayweather about his personal experiences with fighters and his temperament before and after his boxing matches. Jimmy Kimmel brought up two big names as examples for the topic, Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd Mayweather clarified that he had no animosity towards Manny Pacquiao before or after the fight. However, Mayweather did specify to Kimmel that he did not like Conor McGregor. This was obvious, considering the way both fighters went at each other during their press conferences. Jimmy Kimmel continued with his next question, which caught Floyd off guard, unlike in the ring. Kimmel asked, “Will you make love to Conor McGregor?”

Floyd Mayweather did not expect such a question about his nemesis and couldn’t process his surroundings momentarily. The boxer resorted to shaking his head in disagreement at the thought of that happening. Give it to Kimmel to make a situation go awkward.

For various reasons, the former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has had his differences with Floyd Mayweather. Nevertheless, Mike Tyson has always respected Mayweather’s greatness in the ring. After “Iron Mike” watched the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match, he did not focus on Floyd; Conor McGregor was the center of his attention. Mike Tyson was impressed with Conor’s efforts against “the greatest boxer in the last 100 years”.

In the podcast episode, Mike Tyson explained how McGregor had never participated in a boxing match, making him somewhat of an amateur compared to someone like Mayweather. But Tyson remained highly impressed with McGregor for going toe-to-toe with Floyd for ten rounds even with such disadvantages.

Many other fight enthusiasts were impressed with McGregor exceeding everyone’s expectations against Floyd Mayweather. Unfortunately, this was one of McGregor’s last impressive moments in combat sports, as he lost three out of four fights since.
