Things got legendary when Eminem got invited by Mike Tyson to his podcast show, Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson. During the conversation, Tyson and Eminem talked about various things from 90s culture, hip-hop, and boxing.
On the topic of boxing, Eminem mentioned he trains with boxing trainer Emanuel Steward and one day, had to spar with a young kid. Eminem revealed that he got serious for the session but ultimately wasn’t able to land a single shot in three rounds.
“So one day, he comes over and he brings this boxer… When I came out, the dude he brought had his headgear on. We’re going at it and he kicked the sh*t out of me. F*cked me up. I don’t think I got one hit in. After three rounds, he takes off his headgear and I said, ‘Man, how old are you?’ He said, ‘Fourteen.’ I was like, man, I f*cking quit.”
According to Eminem, it was extremely humiliating for him as he has been boxing for 14 years but shows how amazing real boxers are in comparison to someone who is not.

The retired boxer explained that Eminem is the only white man who really knows how to be black.
He said: “Everything you got was, fuckin’—not even given to you. You fuckin’ slaved for it, you know what I mean? You’re the only white guy that knows what it’s like to be a n***a.” Eminem was flustered and didn’t know how to react to the comment. “Not sure how to answer that,” Eminem said with a laugh. “But, uh, nah man. It’s uh … I mean, you know, we all got our story.”
