“Where is he?”- Tommy Fury releases statement hitting back at Jake Paul for his comments about being scared
Tommy Fury calls out Jake Paul for being scared
Tommy Fury reignites his beef with Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul. The British boxer is sick of being called “scared” after he pulled out of the fight. Fury is ready to reschedule the date of the fight. The ball is in Jake’s court.
Tommy Fury and Jake Paul were initially scheduled to fight at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on December 18th. The younger brother of Tyson Fury was forced to pull out of the fight owing to a chest bacterial infection and a training injury. But Jake did not have to worry about an opponent given his former rival Tyron Woodley was ready to fill in for the British boxer at the SHOWTIME PPV fight.
Paul went on to KO Woodley and things played out in the Youtuber’s favor. Since then, Jake has gone on to repeatedly say that Tommy pulled out of the fight because he was scared. The 7-0 boxer is tired of hearing that from Jake and has decided to come out with a statement of his own.

“I’m now fit and healthy,” says Tommy Fury as he insists for a fight against Jake Paul
“I really don’t want to keep talking about this but I just can’t stay silent after comments Jake has made in a recent interview,” said Tommy. “I’m absolutely sick of Jake saying that I was ‘scared’ to fight. I had a broken rib and a bacterial chest infection which left me completely medically unfit to box – as stated by multiple medical professionals.”
“I’m now fit and healthy and have very clearly stated that I am ready to fight on a rescheduled date…but where is he? Me having to pull out the fight was the best thing that ever happened to him and he well knows my injury was legitimate. This man never wanted to fight me, if he did we’d have a rescheduled date for you all and the fight would be back on which is exactly what I want…The easiest fight of my career.”
“I’m not going to allow him to use the excuse ‘Tommy was scared’ any longer. I think we can all agree now that the only person that looks scared is him. That’s all I’m saying on the matter,” ended Tommy’s statement. Do you think the Fury vs Paul fight could be back on?
