Boxing career of Prichard Colon

Colon and his family settled in Puerto Rico. He had a stellar amateur career, winning 5 national championships at 141 and 152 pounds. Colon also won the gold at the Pan American Youth Championship in 2010. He started his professional career after failing to qualify for the London Olympics.

In 2018, his mother posted a video where Prichard Colon started taking physical therapy and responding to verbal cues. Prichard needs the assistance of a computer to communicate. In 2023, he continued his rehab with his mother by his side. However, his speech function has yet to return.
