YouTuber-turned-prizefighter Jake Paul has already won the game. Love him or loathe him, he secured a Netflix-theme historic pro-sanction scrap with Mike Tyson. Paul won it too, breaking some hearts and minds. Now, Jake ‘El Gallo De Dorado’ Paul wins the game again, making the roster of the new (ish) ‘Undisputed’ boxing video game.

The recent ‘Undisputed’ video game release does not follow suit of bigger trends like EA Sports™ UFC® 5 having the best pound-for-pound features. The game takes on a new character and follows their journey to the big leagues. A few big names have got in over the months (60 or so actually). There was also the option of character customization to make boxers look the part – say, Oleksandr Usyk.

Canelo Alvarez and former WBC lineal heavyweight Brit king Tyson Fury have already made it to the roster. Boxers such as ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and ‘Sugar’ Shakur Stevenson were among the fighters that ‘Undisputed’ fans were keen to see. Instead, the developers have added celebrity slugger Jake Paul and one-hit wonder James ‘Buster’ Douglas to the DLC pack, coming on 12 December.

Both the problematic ‘Problem Child’ and Douglas tout logging in wins over Tyson. Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson headlined MVP’s Netflix boxing event from the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. Paul carried the immobile 58-year-old to a neat decision (80-72, 79-73, 79-73). One which many have called a boxing violation a rigged setup.

Now, the inclusion in the game sets ablaze a new set of hay. Some online chatboards have mocked that this game will be the only way Paul ever fights actual legitimate boxers his age and not MMA washouts or those that are 60-ish. Speaking of it, the game itself is making strides.

‘Undisputed’ feat. Jake Paul is new talk of town

The Ultimate Fighting shtick has had a handful of releases over the year. But boxing never really struck the landing with something that good (hint, hint: EA Sports™ UFC® 4 Gameplay). With the ‘Undisputed’ Update 1.1.3 patch, things are changing corners. It’s time the sweet science got back some sweet love.

The addition of Paul has made some retaliate back in what they bill was already not worth playing. Misery loves good company and now that Jake Paul is focusing on being a legit pro boxer, things are flaring up. Here’s the full DLC breakdown:

Pack 1: Mexican Legends Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales. and Juan Manuel Márquez.

Pack 2: Hard-hitting heavyweights like “Buster” Douglas, Otto Wallin, and Zhilei Zhang are a new add-on to ‘Undisputed’ boxing.

Each new fighter comes with an alternative outfit. There are also two new cosmetic packs featuring Deontay Wilder, Roy Jones Jr, Terence Crawford, Vasiliy Lomachenko, and Seniesa Estrada. Women’s rosters like Katie Taylor, Natasha Jonas, and Ebanie Bridges still stay on.

Additionally, as for the root game, some 60+ punch combos and the Loose Movement modifier might soon see even better TLCs. The WBC, British Boxing Board of Control, and other real-life boxing institutions are part of the haul. Brandwear like Empire Pro Tape, Everlast, Rival, Cleto Reyes, & Adams Footwear also stay on.

Two brand new “Ring of Fire” outfits for Fury/Usyk are also incoming before their rematch this month. For now, the sky is the limit and the game is going there very soon. It’s also the chance to make a Paul vs. IBF, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champ Alvarez fight in the meantime.
