On Wednesday, former NHLer Paul Bissonnette and Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand once again exchanged jabs at each other. After the Bruins forward had taken a shot at Bissonnette a few days ago, he has now been hilariously suspended on TNT for taking jabs at him in interviews.

Last week, Bissonnette found himself in a scary situation as he got assaulted in a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. The former Phoenix Coyotes star was attacked by a group of six to seven men.

Fortunately, Bissonnette was able to avoid serious injury. A few days later he was back on the NHL on TNT panel and spoke with Marchand. During the interview, “Biz Nastytried to poke fun at Marchand and asked him if he had hair transplant surgery during the offseason.

This led to a hilarious answer from the forward who claimed that he was just trying to look like the guys who took his (Bissonnette’s) wheels off the other day.

Bissonnette has now suspended Marchand from doing interviews with TNT. While posing as Peorge Garros, a parody of George Parros, the head of the NHL Department of Player Safety, Bissonnette claimed that Marchand is suspended and no longer eligible for the “Mr. TNT” award.

Last Friday, an incident took place ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Bruins game during an interview with Bruins captain, Brad-the-rat-Marchand and superstar hockey analyst Paul Bissonnette… After a seemingly harmless question, Marchand responded with a completely gutless and illegal headshot.

‘Garros’ later explains that Marchand takes a ‘bad angle’ and unnecessarily drives his comments into Bissonnette’s already bruised and battered brain. He further claimed that Marchand will be reinstated after attending a mandatory anger management workshop.

Under rule 46.9, any player who continues to hurl personal attacks at an analyst who is already down bad will be assessed a full year suspension of eligibility on the Mr. TNT award and must attend mandatory anger management workshop before being reinstated by the TNT panel.

Bissonnette would later challenge Marchand to pick two points and earn a powerplay to lift the “Mr. TNT” suspension off him. The 36-year-old would do just that by scoring two goals as the Bruins beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2.

The hilarious back-and-forth between Brad Marchand and Paul Bissonnette continued after the game. After completing the task he had asked, the Bruins star asked whether his suspension was lifted or not.

During this, Biz Nasty once again tried to make fun of Marchand. However, the forward, just like always, had an answer for him.

The 39-year-old jokingly tried to downplay the efforts of Marchand while crediting his forward partner David Pastrnak for his work. Marchand claimed it felt good riding the “coattails” of Pastrnak while referencing Bissonnette’s collaboration with Ryan Whitney on Spittin Chiclets podcast.

It feels great. It’s whatever it takes. I know you haven’t had that opportunity, but it feels good. I don’t mind riding coattails, just like you rode Whit’s (Ryan Whitney) coattails all the way to ‘Spittin’ Chiclets.

After the fun exchange between both of them, the duo would turn serious. Bissonnette would congratulate Marchand for making it to Team Canada’s roster for the Four Nations Face-Off. The veteran forward would claim it was an incredible honor for him to get a chance to play alongside Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, two players who came from the same hockey community as him.
