The Super Bowl rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs generated ample talking points at the final whistle. From Travis Kelce dropping a red-zone pass to the Eagles allegedly making false starts during the tush push, the fixture had it all.

The Chiefs entered the tie on the back of an opening-day defeat to the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil. Patrick Mahomes aimed to avoid creating unwanted history by securing a win.

However, Mahomes’ efforts were in vain. Jalen Hurts rallied the Eagles with 15 completions for 101 yards and a tush push touchdown. Running back Saquon Barkley added one more to increase his tally. The Eagles recorded a 20-17 victory.

It was a grand affair – more than 38.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the game at Arrowhead. The Chiefs-Eagles fixture became FOX Sports’ best-ever regular-season Sunday telecast, the most-watched NFL Week 2 telecast ever, and the most-watched September/October game ever.

Eagles super fan Bradley Cooper wasn’t at the game but still enjoyed the action on his phone while on a date with girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

The 50-year-old Marvel star was photographed alongside the 30-year-old, holding hands as they both arrived for the cocktail party at Monsieur in New York.

The paparazzi were quick to catch a glimpse of Cooper’s phone displaying the Chiefs-Eagles game. Cooper’s love for football and the Eagles is not a secret. In March, the Hangover phenom prepared cheese steak after the Eagles won Super Bowl 59.

While Cooper was juggling between date and game night, another superstar was at Arrowhead to catch the high-voltage fixture in live conditions.

Taylor Swift, who is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, reportedly made her way to the VIP suite in secrecy. The New York Post and Marca reported that the Grammy winner enjoyed the action privately.

During the fourth quarter, the Chiefs missed a significant opportunity to shift the momentum in their favor. Mahomes found Kelce near the red zone, but the decorated tight end failed to control the ball as it popped out of his grasp.

Eagles rookie DB Andrew Mukuba gobbled up the loose ball to cap off an interception. Kelce later took the blame on himself for the fumble and dropped catch.
