Brandon Ingram vs. Pascal Siakam
While the Raptors and the Pacers are having two very contrasting seasons as the Pacers are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Nevertheless, they came into this season as the Eastern conference champions and NBA finalists. The matchup everyone looked forward to was Brandon Ingram vs. Pascal Siakam. And it was the matchup that decided the ending of a highly thrilling game.
When the ball was on Ingram’s hands, he let the clock tick with about five seconds remaining before making his move against Siakam, who was playing with five fouls. At the post-match press conference, Ingram revealed what was going through his mind in the final moments:
First, I knew he was in foul trouble, and I knew he didn’t want to be overly aggressive. So he was at my mercy at that point. Just want to be super aggressive. I saw him kept backing up and I just kept being aggressive and getting to my spots.

Brandon Ingram is turning into a great passer
While Ingram was always known to be a good scorer of the basketball, he has been a very good passer as well. The forward averages nearly 4.5 assists for his career.

Former New York Knicks guard, Immanuel Quickley, has been reminded of his time playing with the Knicks thanks to the former All-Star, who is similar to one of his former teammates. Quickley praised Ingram in a press conference, where he admitted that he wants to capitalize on the forward being double-teamed.
He’s a great passer. We had some similar plays in Philly. He gets double-teamed a lot. I just try to make myself available and ready to shoot, knock it down. When I played in New York, Julius [Randle] used to get a lot of the doubles, so I got a feel of where the soft spot is in double-teams and things like that.
Immanuel Quickley also praised Brandon Ingram’s passing abilities when he gets doubled.

The Raptors have been a surprise package this season as they continue to impress with their performances. Before the season started, Scottie Barnes claimed the Raptors are dangerous, and given how they’ve started the season, it’s hard to argue with the former Rookie of the Year.
