Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram and rapper GloRilla have gone public with their relationship since the summer of 2025. The two have been spotted together at various events and GloRilla is often seen attending Ingram’s games at both home and away venues. She was spotted once again courtside when the Denver Nuggets beat the Toronto Raptors 106-103 in a closely fought encounter at the Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night.
It was a huge win for the Nuggets after their star player, Nikola Jokic, was ruled out for over four weeks after his knee injury in their previous game. It was an unfortunate injury as Jokic was in the midst of a historic season. The Raptors have been one of the surprise packages of the 2025-26 campaign as they currently sit at fourth in the Eastern Conference standings with a 20-15 record.
Raptors’ impressive start to the campaign has largely been due to the impact of Brandon Ingram. The former Lakers player is currently averaging 22.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. The forward has been one of the best players in a wide-open Eastern Conference this season.
This is not the first time that GloRilla has attended a game this season. Earlier in the season, she was seen celebrating with Ingram as he hit a game-winning pull-up jumper in the final second in the Raptors’ win over the Indiana Pacers.
And it appeared that Ingram pulled it off once again as he drilled a clutch three in the closing seconds when the Raptors were down by three. After review, officials ruled that Ingram still had the ball in his hands when the time expired, giving the Nuggets the win by three points.
But this time, the Grammy Award nominee had a different reaction at the end of the match on Wednesday. She posted on social media asking the league to fire the referees of the Raptors-Nuggets game for their questionable decisions.
Fire dem refs ASAP

There have been several moments of poor decision-making by the referees in the NBA. But the decision not to count the basket was a controversial end to the game.
Fans react to GloRilla’s post on firing the referees
Several fans agreed with the rapper and expressed their opinions about the firing of referees on social media. Here are some of the reactions:
Glo, "Fire dem refs ASAP" has me yelling at the screen too—that call was straight robbery, no cap! 😤🏈 You always keep it real with the reactions; it's why we love your energy. Brandon Ingram on a shorthanded Denver Nuggets
With Jokic ruled out, many believed that the Nuggets would face a hard time as the Serbian was their focal point in offense while they have one of the poorest defenses among all the top teams in the league. Hence, going into the fixture, fans were skeptical about their chances in Toronto.
After the loss, Ingram spoke about the Raptors’ mindset going into the game against a shorthanded Nuggets.

We know there was going to be a bunch of Jamal Murray tonight. We knew being undersized, Valančiūnas was going to be a big part of their offence tonight. I wasn’t expecting Peyton Watson to play as well as he did. I don’t think we were aggressive in the first half. It’s kind’ve been a trend that we’ve been having, being the aggressor in the second half.

Sometimes, not having the star player can help the other players play with more freedom and give them more unpredictability. Four of the Nuggets starters scored double-digit points, with Jamal Murray and Peyton Watson crossing the 20-point mark. The Raptors will look to rebound from their loss when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on January 3.
