Despite injuries to Philadelphia Phillies star players Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and J.T. Realmuto, the team is rolling at a perfectly fine pace. They recently demolished the Los Angeles Dodgers with a record of 10-1 on Tuesday night.
Bryson Scott and Brandon Marsh perfectly tuned in as Trea Turner hit his sixth career grand slam in the team’s victory. Phillies manager Rob Thompson said, Turner’s grand slam “gave us some distance” to leverage against Shohei Ohtani and his team.
On X, Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh spoke about what it is to be a Phillies and how special it was for him to get into the same organization as his idol, Bryce Harper. He highly complimented the team saying, “This team is just special,” and their squad has a tight bond with each other.
He revealed that Harper was his idol growing up, and to be in the same team as him was special. He recalled the day Harper and Schwarber casually put their arm around his neck and spoke to him the moment he got into the locker room. Marsh admits that all anxiety he was feeling was washed away with their encouraging words and actions.
...we’re going to be here every step of the way we’ll be here for you to help you if you need anything you come to us let us know…And I was like, okay, all right they got my back it’s time to go ride out there with them.Brandon Marsh as per X.

Marsh says “It’s crazy” how he can be on the same team as Harper. Marsh got traded by the Los Angeles Angels and joined the Phillies in 2022. He said, hearing them give him advice, hit him harder than he thought.
Trea Turner comments about the “refreshing” way Phillies won over Dodgers in 10-1 match
Trea Turner commented about the Phillies winning over the Dodgers with a 10-1 score, saying, “The way we won I think is pretty refreshing and gives us confidence moving forward.” It was reported that Dodgers manager Dave Roberts started clearing the benches shortly after the Phillies scored three in the second and sixth in the four.
For the fans, it was a sight to see both MLB stars Ohtani and Turner on the same field. The Phillies also welcomed back Harper, and Schwarber after they were sidelined on the IL. Turner commented on winning over the Dodgers,
It was just another good win against a really good team. It’s another game, but, at the same time you kind of want to see where you stack up at.Trea Turner as per Dan Gelston of NBC Los Angeles.

Brandon Marsh also “felt like the squad is coming back together” after welcoming their star players back from the IL break. He expressed how they are one of the core of the team and “we go nowhere without them.”
“They’re the face of our team,” he said. Currently, the Phillies are ahead of the Dodgers, but it’s a risky position to keep. Soon the retaliation of the Dodgers will begin, and it’ll be interesting to see how the Phillies keep up with them and their other competitors.
