Two women who have refrained from revealing their names accused Brandon McManus of harassment on a plane to London.

Two unnamed women are suing former Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Brandon McManus. The women alleged that the veteran placekicker s*xually assaulted them while on a flight to London.

It’s uncertain which London game Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2 referred to. The Jaguars played two games in the Capital of England in October last year. The first was against the Atlanta Falcons in Wembley on October 1 and the other was against the Buffalo Bills a week later.

According to ESPN, a lawsuit was filed Friday in Duval County Civil Circuit Court, Florida, by two women. They accused Brandon McManus of harassing and s*xually assaulting them.

The women are also suing the Jacksonville Jaguars organization for not supervising McManus. They also expressed concern about the work environment inside the franchise.

ESPN added that the women are seeking $1 million and a jury trial. McManus hasn’t issued any statement on the matter so far.

Brandon McManus’ attorney dismissed the allegation against his client

The 32-year-old let his attorney Brett R. Gallaway do the talking for him. Gallaway immediately thwarted the allegations calling it ‘fictitious.’

To be clear, these are absolutely fictitious and demonstrably false allegations made as part of a campaign to defame and disparage a [talented and] well-respected NFL player.

He pinned the blame on the two women, claiming their attempt to malign his client was wrong and called it extortion.

We intend to aggressively defend Brandon [McManus’s] rights and integrity and clear his name by showing what these claims truly are — an extortion attempt.
Brett R. Gallaway said

McManus’ agent also chimed in on the matter. He revealed to be keeping an eye on the situation and will make a formal statement after the investigators discover concrete evidence.

The Jaguars stated via their official channels. They acknowledged the seriousness of the news.

Brandon McManus’ NFL career

McManus entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2013. A year later he joined the New York Giants and remained on their practice squad. In 2014 he signed with his third franchise in two years after agreeing a move to the Denver Broncos.

He stayed in Mile Hight for the next nine seasons as the Broncos’ primary placekicker, winning the Super Bowl in 2015. McManus has made 253 field goals from 311 attempts with a success rate of 81.3% accumulating a total of 1071 points (including the Jaguars). After just one season in Florida, he left to sign with the Washington Commanders in March 2024.
