A bizarre yet entertaining segment took place on last night’s episode of Raw. On the second night of the WWE Draft, the promotion cranked it up a notch by inviting Kansas city’s own Patrick Mahomes. Oddly enough, the quarterback played the role of a heel while assisting Logan Paul in the latter’s beatdown of Jey Uso. However, a returning Braun Strowman ended up returning and evening the odds.

Following the save, The Monster Among Men had an intense face-off with Mahomes. The real-life Adam Scherr sent a two-word message on Instagram, indicating that he was finally back. For those unaware, Strowman was out of action after undergoing neck surgery in May 2023. Earlier in the night, IShowSpeed announced that the 40-year-old would stay on Raw.

Having said that, he didn’t take long to make an impact upon his return. Braun Strowman took out Finn Balor, who helped Paul beat down Jey Uso. The former Universal Champion delivered a devastating chokeslam on The Judgment Day member. Further, he went after the Maverick who high-tailed out of the ring.

Before leaving, Strowman would confront Patrick Mahomes, who was sitting ringside. As the two men talked trash to one another, Uso held back The Monster Among Men, advising him to deal with the NFL star “another time.” Whether or not that was a subtle tease for a future program involving Strowman and Mahomes will be interesting to see.

What is next for Braun Strowman after earth-shattering return on Raw?

Now that Braun Strowman has confirmed that he’s ready to go inside the ring, there is a lot for him and fans to look forward to. As mentioned above, The Monster Among Men will continue to be a part of the red brand. Interestingly, Ricochet, whom Strowman teamed up with prior to his injury, is also on the same show.

Therefore, the duo could reunite once again. This time, they could gun for the World Tag Team Championships on Raw. On the other hand, Strowman might prefer to stay as a singles star. After the WWE Draft, the roster on Monday nights is stacked with top superstars, with the likes of Ilja Dragunov and Bron Breakker from NXT posing as possible contenders for him.

A direction that fans have speculated for weeks is for Strowman to join forces with the returning Uncle Howdy. Rumors suggest that Bo Dallas will form a new faction, Wyatt 6. Given the obvious history between the former Intercontinental Champion and Bray Wyatt, it is difficult to rule out the possibility of him joining the stable.
