The latest episode of SmackDown featured a backstage segment where Sami Zayn requested General Manager Nick Aldis for a chance to go up against the Bloodline. Carmelo Hayes showed up and started handing out Christmas cards to everyone. This annoyed the former Intercontinental Champion, and the two got into a spat.
Zayn postponed his wishes to go after The Bloodline to have a match against the 30-year-old instead. However, the latter had no idea he was about to have another run-in with Braun Strowman. Aldis made the match official, and the two superstars met inside the squared circle later in the night. They were putting on an incredible match, and Sami Zayn finally caught his opponent with an exploder suplex.
As he started to gear up for a Helluva Kick, Hayes bailed out of the ring and started walking up the ramp. As soon as Hayes made it to the stage, Strowman showed up and grabbed the former NXT Champion. These two had crossed paths over the past two weeks, and the Monster Among Men wasn’t about to let him go so easily. However, The Bloodline then showed up in the ring and started to beat down Zayn.

Conflicted, Strowman let go of Carmelo Hayes and entered the ring to save Zayn. He began clearing the ring and threw Solo Sikoa over the ropes. The former Universal Champion squared up with Jacob Fatu, but Tama Tonga pulled him out of the ring. The numbers game eventually caught up to him, and both he and Zayn were laid out in the ring.
Braun Strowman beats Austin Theory on the latest episode of SmackDown
Braun Strowman was a special guest on the Grayson Waller Effect last week on SmackDown. The former Universal Champion had shown up wearing a Santa outfit, which the hosts did not appreciate. Things eventually got heated, and he ended up destroying the stage.

This week, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory approached Nick Aldis in a backstage segment. The Australian handed over a bill to the SmackDown GM for all the destruction that Braun Strowman had caused last week. The former NWA Champion told them that if they had a problem with the former Money in the Bank winner, they should take it up with him themselves.
Later in the night, Theory went one-on-one against the 41-year-old. Waller tried his best to run interference during the match. However, the former WWE Tag Team Champions could not overcome the monster. Strowman ended up winning the match via pinfall after a running power slam.
