(Video) Wild brawl erupts in NBA as Spurs and OKC stars throw hands during game
Several players of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs were involved in a Scuffle on Sunday.

Lu Dort got into a major scuffle in the Spurs-Thunder game
The Oklahoma City Thunder faced the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, but the game took an unexpected turn when a heated scuffle broke out in the third quarter involving Spurs’ Julian Champagnie and Thunder’s Kenrich Williams and Lu Dort.
At the Frost Bank Center, Williams was defending Champagnie on the wing, with roughly three minutes remaining in the third quarter. Champagnie seemed to unintentionally elbow Williams in the jaw as he attempted to move the ball inside. Whatever the intention, it didn’t sit well with Williams. Jeremy Sochan knocked down a dunk as the two scuffled near the scorer’s table.
Coaches and officials rushed in to break up the shoving between the two players. Both Williams and Champagnie received technical fouls and ejections. The fight didn’t last long, though. Mostly because the players separated without any further issues. In addition, Lu Dort also faced ejection. After his dunk, Sochan got into a fight, resulting in a technical foul for his behavior.

As it occurred, Jalen Williams set a career-high 41 points on 15 of 24 shots, including 4 of 8 3-pointers. Williams was clinical in the win, contributing six rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block. He took his side to a 132-146 win on Sunday. As a team, they also shot more than 54% from the field.
Thunder HC on the scuffle leading to his two stars’ ejection
Lu Dort was not present in the initial altercation. So it was unclear why the officials didn’t simply give him a technical foul rather than dismissing him. Reporters questioned Mark Daigneault, the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, following the game regarding the altercation that occurred late in the third quarter.
We haven’t been a team that’s retaliated very much. We retaliated tonight.
Mark Daigneault said

“We haven’t been a team that’s retaliated very much. We retaliated tonight.”
Said James Williams ejected Lu for “something he said, which is fair game. … the issue I have with that is, I’ve… pic.twitter.com/3LCxnxLSy4
In addition, Daigneault also stated that the refereeing toward his side was not great. For a team without the best whistle, the Thunder have been rather level-headed.
However, the team was aggressive and retaliated against the Spurs. Nevertheless, Daigneault’s team won, and the Thunder moved up to 49-11 after 60 games this season.
