He is at Brazil for his wedding with the daughter of F1 legend Nelson Piquet, who has four F1 world championships. This race would be a great family bonding time for everyone involved ahead of the big-day.

Daniel Saurez is having a mixed season in 2024. Though he is in the playoff because of his Talladega race win, he isn’t racing with same level of consistency as he used to in the previous years. This break might give him the negeri to get back performing on the high level in the series.
