Brazilian Legend Rivaldo predicts that Steven Gerrard will become a Liverpool manager and also his first signing
To many people, Steven Gerrard becoming a Liverpool manager is inevitable and the only debate is on when he will become the manager. Current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a contract with Liverpool until 2024, while Steven Gerrard has just won the prestigious Scottish Premiership trophy and is still unbeaten in the Europa League. Some fans will be wary of his appointment since Frank Lampard was sacked at Chelsea after some bad results.
Rivaldo states that Gerrard’s arrival at Liverpool is inevitable and he could bring Ianis Hagi along with him
Brazilian legend Rivaldo-who will forever be remembered for his season-defining hat-trick against Valencia for FC Barcelona said that Steven Gerrard will become Liverpool manager in the future. The Liverpool legend is managing Rangers now and has broken Celtic’s 9 year domination in spectacular fashion and is leading the Ibrox side in the Europa League. Gerrard has had a lot of young and exciting talent to work with and plays a highly exciting attacking style of play.
Rivaldo predicted that Gerrard will take Rangers player Ianis Hagi with him to Liverpool as the 22 year old is highly rated. Ianis Hagi is son of Romanian legend Gheorghe and has scored 6 goals in 27 appearances this season. The player is tipped to become better as he gets more experience at Rangers under Steven Gerrard and it will be exciting to watch him.
However, more exciting than that is to see Steven Gerrard take the reins at Liverpool-although it will come at the cost of Jurgen Klopp’s departure.
