Let’s take a look at the player ratings for Brentford vs Manchester United match:-
Brentford vs Manchester United Player Ratings
Brentford
Lossl (4/10): Lossl was absolutely spot on with his distribution. Couldn’t do anything about any of those goals.
Pinnock (3/10): Was better offensively than defensively all game. Needs to improve that part of his game.
Jansson (4/10): Standard five for Jansson. Kept Ronaldo out of the game in the first half. Dropped off in the second.
Bech Sorensen (5/10): The best of the back three for Brentford. Sorensen was really balanced and accurate with his lobs.
Roerslev (3/10): Lacklustre performance from Roerslev. Not up to the speed of the game.
Janelt (3/10): Dropped off massively in the second half. Not quite the impact he would have hoped for going forward.
Norgaard (2/10): One of Brentford’s reliable players on the pitch. Let down by his teammates
Jensen (3/10): Similar to Janet but decent defensively. Again, dropped off after the break.
Canos (1/10): Worst player on the pitch by a mile. He looked out of touch the whole evening
Mbuemo (6/10): A brilliant first half followed by a decent second. Should keep his heads up.
Ivan Toney (3/10): Not his best first half. Still created a ton to attack and got his goal in the end.
Substitutes:
Rico Henry (3/10): Worst out of the three substitutions made by the Bees. Got dominated by Mctominay.
Baptiste (4/10): Mctominay gave him troubles too. However, managed to sneak in a key pass.
Yoane Wissa (5/10): Wissa was really bright on and off the ball. Ended the night with 85% pass accuracy.
Manchester United
De Gea (9/10): Pulled off his usual worldies in the first half. Just the usual day in the office for the Spaniard.
Telles (8/10): One of United’s few best players in the first half. Telles constantly troubled the Leicester defence with his crosses
Varane (8/10): Was certainly the better CB for United. Made some crucial blocks in the first half.
Lindelof (7/10): Struggled to keep up with Mbuemo and Toney in the first half. Came back better in the second.
Dalot (6/10): One of his poorer games since getting back in the team. Nearly gave a goal to Brentford early in the game.
Mctominay (10/10): A perfect performance from Mctominay. He was involved in every single goal that United scored
Fred (8/10): One of many United players who had a better second-half. Fred started the United rally by providing that beautiful assist to Elanga.
Greenwood (9/10): Like Telles but on the other side where Greenwood was threatening from with his crosses.
Bruno Fernandes (7/10): Bruno was another United player who came back better after the break. Managed a couple of assists.
Elanga (8/10): Back-to-back strong performances from Elanga. A goal this time is to surely book his place for the next game.
Cristiano Ronaldo (7/10): Not his best game in the United shirt. Played a significant part in the second goal.
Substitutes:
Rashford (8/10): Made an instant impact coming off the bench. The goal could prove to be the turning point for him this season.
Maguire (7/10): Was brought on at 3-0 to see off the game. Failed to keep the clean sheet intact.
