Brian Burns has landed himself in more drama after making a gross admission. The linebacker secretly acknowledged that he enjoys the smell of his own farts.

The New York Giants linebacker made an animated admission in a video where the team’s players were asked about their favorite smells. The majority of them answered “gasoline,” with Burns also stating that he likes the smell of gas. The video has since been deleted from X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

Burns has a history of being funny and giving some of the wildest interview responses in addition to being involved in fights. If one can recollect, there was an incident where he cribbed about the New York traffic. The ejection after punching Cody Mauch and the whole Mac Joneslittle bitch” scandal is also fresh in people’s minds. The recent fart comment was something out of the box that one would only expect from Burns.

You want me to tell you what the smell is? "That's crazy". Sometimes I enjoy my farts. They don't smell too bad. I'm not going to lie. If you eat right, you're fine.
Brian Burns said in the video

Burns was not, however, the only with a gross answer. Safety Jason Pinnock said, “earing backs.” Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson, Deonte Banks, and Micah McFadden all named “gasoline.” McFadden also mentioned “Sharpies” as another item he likes to smell.

Brian Burns make ESPN Top 10 rushing duos list

Jokes and vicious punches aside, Brian Burns is a threat to many teams. He has been touted as “special” by a rival Jets player last month for his strong performance. ESPN Analytics named him and Kayvon Thibodeaux in the projected Top 10 rushing duos ahead of the upcoming season.

The duo came in at No. 7 in the list which was based on sack projections. Individually, Burns is projected to record at least 10.2 sacks in the season. The model projects Burns to achieve a higher sack rate than his last season with the Carolina Panthers. In 2022, Burns maxed on 12.5 while managing only eight in the last season.

Combined, they are expected to record 17.8 sacks in the next season, tied with Philadelphia Eagles’ Josh Sweat and Bryce Huff. Keeping the projections in mind, the expectations from the Giants are high. They haven’t been on top of their game for some time now.

The team is even predicted to hire Dak Prescott and Bill Belichick to improve. They will start their campaign, putting this theory to test, against the Minnesota Vikings at the MetLife Stadium.
