Thursday Night Football of week 6 game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants had ample action. An agitated Brian Daboll, Giants HC, bounced up and down on the sidelines and was seen screaming at the top of his lungs to hear positive news from the physician about Jaxson Dart, who went down after colliding with a Philadelphia Eagles defender.
Even though they had a comfortable ten-point lead in the third quarter, Daboll was really hoping to get Dart back in the game. In the midst of the excitement, he peeked into the blue tent and kindly urged the physician to speed up the evaluation.
I just wanted his a** out there if he was okay… I’m like, ‘Is he gonna be good or not? I’m gonna call a timeout on 4th down and go for this son of a b***h.’

Anxiety levels rose among the Giants’ faithful after Russell Wilson, who replaced Dart for a couple of snaps, threw an incomplete pass on third and nine.

Did Jaxson Dart suffer a concussion in the Eagles game?
The G-Men kicked off the week six games as massive underdogs against the Eagles. Dart proved the narrative wrong by scrambling for a touchdown and then throwing a 35-yard touchdown pass to Wan’Dale Robinson.

By the third quarter, the score stood at 17-27. After Philly QB Jalen Hurts contributed one passing TD and one rushing TD, Giants rookie rusher Cam Skattebo added back-to-back TDs on the ground to take back the lead.
However, tragedy struck two minutes before the end of the third quarter. Dart stayed down when his head bounced off Philly linebacker Azeez Ojulari’s left knee.

The medical team escorted Dart to the blue tent to check him for a concussion. Daboll nearly threw a tantrum while trying to find out whether Dart was okay to continue.

It felt so long… Felt so long. I had a few guys pop in. I was just trying to get back out there. I understand that there are protocols and what not but I was just trying to get out there fast.

After taking a brief but excruciating break, Dart stepped onto the field and helped Skattebo score his third rushing score in the fourth quarter.
The game ended in a 17-34 win for the Giants win. Dart completed 17 passes from 25 attempts for 195 yards and 1 passing touchdown, along with 13 carries for 58 yards and one score on the ground. Skattebo had 19 carries for 98 yards and 3 TDs.
I understand that the most important thing for everybody is winning, as competitors, that’s how we feel too. I feel like this city is starving for that.
