Premier League: Brighton vs Burnley Player Ratings as the Burnley destroy the Seagulls 3-0

Brighton vs Burnley: Brighton squared off against Burnley at the Falmer Stadium in Matchday 25 of the ongoing edition of the Premier League.
A tremendous display of determination, defensive capabilities and attacking prowess saw Burnley get their first away win of the season in a very comfortable way. They were not dominant in possession but were defensively absolutely fabulous. Two 1st half goals by Wout Weghorst and Josh Brownhill saw Burnley take a 2-0 lead at half-time.
The 2nd half display were pretty similar to the 1st half and at the 69th minute Aaron Lennon was able to score the 3rd goal for Burnley with a fabulous strike to put the final nail in the coffin for Brighton. As for Brighton, they never seemed to have the intensity and determination to go forward and make something happen.

Robert Sánchez (5/10): The Spanish goalkeeper did not have a very comfortable night since the beginning as he had to struggle to make saves. He was scored passed twice tonight.
Shane Duffy (5.2/10): The Irish defender was scrappy at times and failed to show his defensive prowess against Burnley. However, he did make a few stops.
Joël Veltman (5.4/10): The Dutch defender had some good moments early in the 1st half but gradually faded away as the game went on.
Yves Bissouma (5.6/10): The Malian midfielder had a satisfactory performance as he was able to hold on to the ball and make some good passes and also controlled the tempo.
Marc Cucurella (5.3/10): The Spanish left wing-back made some good runs both with and without the ball but he could have done more to stop the goals from coming.
Tariq Lamptey (5.6/10): The right wing-back had some bright moments using his pace to carry the ball and also make runs to find space.
Jakub Moder (5.6/10): The Polish midfielder had a fairly decent performance tonight making a few good passes and playing some good one-twos.
Alexis Mac Allister (5.7/10): The Argentine central midfielder saw a lot of the ball and made a few good combinations. He also had a couple of shots at the goal as well.
Adam Lallana (5.4/10): The attacking midfielder could not do much with ball apart from some passes and a few link up playes. He was subbed off early in the 2nd half.
Danny Welbeck (5.6/10): The English forward was fairly absent in the game apart from some runs with and without the ball.
Neal Maupay (5.6/10): The French forward was also almost absent in the game, but he was able to get a few shots at the goal, though all were off target.
Substitutes:
Solly March (4.7/10): He tried to get involved in the game, seeing a lot of the ball and tried to create things but without much impact.
Leandro Trossard (4/10): He was pretty ineffective after coming on as sub. However, he did a couple of opportunities to shoot at goal which were all off target.
Evan Ferguson (3.5/10): The teenager was completely ineffective after coming on as a sub and could not do anything to change the scoreline.

Nick Pope (6.8/10): The English goalkeeper did not have much to do but still he was proactive in front of the goal and made some really good saves and clearances.
Ben Mee (7/10): The English defender had a tremendous display of defensive capabilities today a she made some really good blocks and interceptions.
Nathan Collins (6.8/10): The young Irish centre-back gave a fabulous partnership to Ben Mee in the defense line today, making good blocks and clearances.
Erik Pieters (6.7/10): The Dutch left-back had a really decent performance tonight making some good tackles and also a few good passes as well.
Connor Roberts (7/10): The Welsh right back had an instrumental display in the right-flank making interceptions and also good combinations. He assisted the 1st goal for Burnley.
Josh Brownhill (7.5/10): The midfielder had a commanding performance tonight as he made some good interceptions and some fine quality passes. He scored the 2nd goal for Burnley.
Jack Cork (6.7/10): The midfielder had a pretty decent performance tonight making some really good passes and combinations in the midfield.
Dwight McNeil (6.8/10): The winger had a pretty decent performance tonight as he tried to create a lot with ball and got involved in the game a lot.
Aaron Lennon (7.3/10): The English winger was on target tonight as he scored the 3rd goal with a clean fabulous strike to put the final nail in the coffin for Brighton. He played some really good passes as well.
Wout Weghorst (8/10): The Dutch striker was absolutely mesmerizing tonight as he scored the opening goal today and also assisted the 2nd for Burnley.
Maxwel Cornet (6.7/10): The Ivorian winger had some bright moments tonight and made some good runs but was unlucky to get injured early in the 2nd half.

Jay Rodriguez (6.5/10): He had a decent performance today after coming on as sub and playing some good passes and finding spaces. He assisted the 3rd goal for Burnley.
