Emma Raducanu has been backed by British tennis legend and commentator Tim Henman to win more Grand Slam titles than Alexander Zverev. In a game on Sky Sports Channel, Henman was asked to pick the player he believes will finish with more Grand Slam titles between the two.

After a few deep breaths, Henman decided to go with his country’s player. The former Wimbledon semifinalist has criticized Raducanu for her lack of consistency in the past but hopes she can get back on the right track.

This year, Raducanu reached the third round of the Australian Open and seemed to be building good form. However, she managed to win only one game against Iga Swiatek in the third round in Melbourne.

Emma Raducanu’s earnings so far

British tennis star Emma Raducanu has made a lot of money from tennis and even more from sponsorships. She became famous after winning the 2021 US Open, earning $2.5 million from that victory. Her US Open win gave her 2,000 ranking points, allowing her to play in top events. She also received wild cards for major tournaments. In 2025, she has earned $237,715 in prize money but has lost six out of nine matches. She is working to improve her performance and gain more wins.

Raducanu has signed deals with brands like Dior, Porsche, Tiffany, and Vodafone. These endorsements have earned her at least $10 million in three years. However, her value to sponsors has dropped because of inconsistent results. She is no longer in the top 50 rankings.

She missed most of 2023 due to injury but made a strong return in 2024. She broke back into the top 100 and promised to play more events. This year, she has played in several tournaments but has struggled to win. The next few months will be important for her career.

Emma Raducanu returns to Instagram after Dubai incident

2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu has returned to Instagram just two days after deactivating her account. The British tennis player took a break from social media after a scary stalking incident at the Dubai Open. This caused her to step away from the platform for a short time.

During her second-round match against Karolina Muchova, Raducanu noticed a man in the crowd who had been following her. She was clearly upset but managed to alert security. The man was removed and later arrested by Dubai Police. Despite the incident, she continued playing but lost the match 6-7, 4-6.

After Dubai, Raducanu traveled to California for the Indian Wells Masters. She lost in the first round to Moyuka Uchijima, 3-6, 2-6. The struggles on and off the court seemed to affect her, leading her to deactivate her Instagram, where she had 2.6 million followers. This break was likely to help her focus on tennis.

Now, Raducanu is back on Instagram but has not posted anything yet. Fans noticed a small change in her bio. She removed the Latin phrase “Ad astra per aspera” and replaced it with just “Emma.”
