AEW often finds itself at the center of controversies, and this time, one of its top stars has become the focus of attention. The star in question is none other than former AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker. Recently, Baker faced allegations of cheating on her former boyfriend, Adam Cole. However, the “DMD” swiftly responded to these accusations with a firm and unequivocal message.

Taking to X, Baker addressed the allegations with a firm and powerful statement. She asserted that she has never cheated on anyone in her life, calling the accusations both insensitive and baseless. The former AEW champion further emphasized that, as a performer, she has developed a mindset to ignore such comments. However, she firmly stated that it is high time people stopped prying into her personal life.

I understand we as performers are expected to have thick skin through opinions and lies we read about ourselves, but spreading lies about my personal life is just low, weird, and something I won’t tolerate. I’ve never cheated on anyone in my life.

Baker and Cole were in a long-term relationship, dating well before Cole’s AEW debut. However, in October 2024, the former NXT Champion announced that the couple had decided to part ways but would remain friends. Baker later confirmed this on social media, emphasizing that there were no hard feelings between the two stars.

The accusations of Baker cheating on Cole have cast a shadow over their relationship. Adding to the speculation, the 33-year-old has been absent from AEW programming for over three months, leaving fans questioning her status within the company. As Baker navigates this turbulent period, it remains to be seen what the future holds for her both personally and professionally.

Britt Baker might be done with AEW as per some recent reports

Britt Baker was once the cornerstone of AEW’s women’s division, making history as the company’s first female signee in 2019 and enjoying a dominant run in the promotion. She carried the division for years, solidifying her legacy. However, recent reports suggest that Baker might be done with AEW for good, citing alleged backstage frustrations as a possible reason.

According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, Baker is reportedly unpopular within the AEW locker room. The report claims that many in the locker room are not keen on seeing the former champion return to programming. As a result, AEW President Tony Khan has allegedly placed Baker in the category of unutilized talent for an indefinite period.

[Britt Baker] might be done with AEW, at least the feeling I’m getting from talking to people in AEW is Tony Khan might have her in the same category as some other wrestlers where they just don’t get phone calls and don’t get called in to show up.

Additionally, several reports claim that AEW suspended the 33-year-old star following a backstage incident with MJF a few months ago. Notably, Baker has not competed since November 2024, when she faced Penelope Ford on Dynamite. With these concerning developments, her future in professional wrestling appears increasingly uncertain.
