Brittany Mahomes, slaying in a shiny silver dress, enjoys date night with husband Patrick Mahomes after the Miami Grand Prix qualifying

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes enjoyed Saturday night in style. After wrapping up the preceding events at the Miami International Autodrome, the pair headed off to enjoy the Florida nightlife.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, who has a minor stake in the Alpine Racing organization, dropped by Miami Gardens to cheer for his team on May 4th. After witnessing both Alpine drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon clinching 12th and 13th spots during the day, Patrick and Brittany went to a nearby club at night.

They weren’t alone. The pair was accompanied by former Chiefs QB Shane Buechele and his wife Paige. Mahomes wore a black shirt that was covered with intricate designs all around the shoulder. Brittany lit up the party with a shimmering two-piece with her golden hair tied behind to form a ponytail.

Eyewitnesses claimed that they were at the establishment late into the night. Updates from Brittany Mahomes on Instagram showed them sipping drinks and even sharing a kiss on the cheeks.

Patrick Mahomes shared his experience of meeting Lionel Messi

On April 13th, Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City welcomed Inter Miami FC. Mahomes, being a sports junkie, wasn’t about to pass up on the opportunity to meet the World Cup winner Lionel Messi. 

So he went to meet the eight-time Balon d’Or winner. Before the kickoff, he spoke with Messi inside the tunnel and told him to ‘have fun.’ The three-time Super Bowl winner revealed he was extremely nervous to meet the legendary soccer player.

So I was walking down the hall, and they're walking in a tight hallway. He's going to warm up; what am I supposed to say? [I said], 'Have fun out there' and he had a goal and an assist, so I feel like he had a great time; he had fun; it was all on me.

The game took place at the Chiefs’ home the Arrowhead. Sporting KC’s usual venue is Children’s Mercy Park, which is a lot smaller compared to the GEHA Field, which can host up to 76,000 spectators. On that day, the MLS attendance record was shattered as 72,610 fans turned up to witness Messi’s Miami beat KC 3-2.

Paul asked Mahomes if Messi knew who he was.

He probably watched the Super Bowl. I had my helmet on [then]; maybe I should wear my uniform next time, then he'd know who I am.

Both Patrick and Brittany have contributed greatly to the development of soccer in Kansas City. Brittany, being a former player herself, chose to invest in WSL side KC Current. The team recently moved into a new stadium by the Missouri River.
