Brock Purdy was enjoying his choice of beverage at Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo’s wedding reception when something truly remarkable happened. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback got a taste of where McCaffrey’s athletic genes come from.

A video shared on TikTok by Culpo went viral on Monday. The short clip of 19 seconds documented a spontaneous Lisa McCaffrey, Christian’s mother, showcasing her dancing skills at the wedding.

Wearing a gorgeous black shimmering dress for the occasion, Lisa danced to her heart’s content, lighting up the party. It took everyone by surprise, including Brock Purdy, who stood in the corner but cheered his teammate’s mom on like the rest of the crowd.

Lisa posted the video on Instagram, expressing how much she enjoyed the dance.

It doesn’t come as a shock that Lisa McCaffrey has some major skills. A former Stanford soccer player and the daughter of the former fastest man in the world, Dr. Dave Sime, per the Washington Post, McCaffrey also lettered four times in tennis and received Vanderbilt’s first-ever women’s soccer scholarship. 

As for Brock Purdy, he definitely had a great time at the wedding. A group photo emerged with McCaffrey’s past and present teammates, which included Luke Kuechly, Greg Olsen, and Kyle Juszczyk.

Kuechly was the latest guest on Up and Adams with Kay Adams. The former Carolina Panthers linebacker disclosed a few never-before-seen details about Brock Purdy.

Adams asked Kuechly about his impression of Purdy. He replied that the 24-year-old may come off as a shy and private individual, but in reality, it’s quite the opposite.

[Brock Purdy is a] ton of fun. I like how he is… his energy. We talked to some of the guys about him, like 'What's he like?' They said he's even-keeled. Doesn't get too high [and he] doesn't get too low. When you talk about that, you think this guy must be stiff. He might not be any fun. But he's got some subtle sarcasm. He's dry. He's fun to be around. He was on the dance floor having a good time.

Purdy is full of surprises. The Iowa graduate became the first ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ quarterback to play in a Super Bowl. Despite football fans and analysts continuing to doubt his credentials, Purdy remains the franchise quarterback for the 49ers.
