This week’s Raw featured a couple of stellar matches for an opportunity to compete for the Intercontinental Championship. Jey Uso and Pete Dunne walked out victorious in their respective matches. Later, Bron Breakker was interviewed about this, where he delivered a bold message to his possible challengers. He called out “Main Event” Jey and even went on to mock The Bloodline.
The Dawg of WWE gave a reality check to Jey Uso. He pointed out that no member of The Bloodline has ever defeated anyone from his family. It was a wild remark, as Breakker advised The YEET Master to step aside and watch his mouth. He warned the 38-year-old to beware of the consequences of name-dropping him and having aspirations to win the Intercontinental Championship.
You better watch your mouth Jey, because there’s never been a member of your family to beat up a member of mine.Bron Breakker via Raw
Meanwhile, Uso looked pretty confident with his win in the triple threat match on Raw. He defeated Kofi Kingston and Karrion Kross to advance further toward his quest. Moreover, Jey has said numerous times in the past that he has his eyes set on the Intercontinental Championship. It seems that even Bron Breakker has Jey on his radar.
With the current dynamics, it seems WWE is planning for this mega clash down the line. It has been reported that the culmination of this IC title tournament will take place at Bad Blood in Atlanta. The Dawg of WWE has been having a dominant run on the main roster so far. He even emerged victorious in a series of matches against Sami Zayn this month. It is going to be interesting to see where his title reign goes from here on.
Rikishi expressed resentment over the booking of Jey Uso on Raw
Since last year, Jey Uso has been one of the top stars on Raw. He has been portrayed as the biggest babyface of the show time and time again. However, “Main Event” Jey has nothing substantial to show in this singles run. Speaking of that, his father, Rikishi, talked about the booking of his son.

On the ‘Off The Top’ podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer said that he is pretty resentful of the booking of Uso. He added that there has been nothing in his character except doing “Yeet.” He implicitly meant that even though he has been successful in selling merchandise and making a connection with the fans, WWE doesn’t want him to be involved in the main event scene.
I’m at this point where I want to call my son (Jey Uso), ‘Go ahead and take a break. Obviously, the writers don’t know where to put you, or they can write something that is right for the character Jey Uso, The Yeet Man.’Rikishi via Off The Top
Moreover, he even suggested that his son head to AEW if he wanted to bet on himself. These choices of words by Rikishi seem a little off. It is possible that WWE has some major plans for Uso down the line. It is highly likely that he is going to align himself with The Bloodline later on. However, with his involvement in the Intercontinental Championship picture, he might even dethrone Bron Breakker heading forward.
