WrestleMania 42 is now under a month away. Despite several injury hiccups, the card is coming together nicely. It could get even better should Bron Breakker get the official nod to return to action just in time for the pop-culture extravaganza.
The Vision member was taken off the road after he popped a hiatal hernia while flipping over the commentary desk on Raw after the Royal Rumble last month. Breakker had to be operated upon almost immediately to prevent the situation from worsening. It was announced by Michael Cole that there was no timeline on The Unpredictable Badass’ comeback and he would be out indefinitely.
But there’s finally some good news on that front. As noted in this week’s edition of WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select, a source within WWE this week expressed optimism regarding Breakker returning to TV before WrestleMania.
The report also added that WWE has a plan in place for the second-generation wrestler should he be able to pull off that miraculous return. And it isn’t that hard to gauge that Seth Rollins is the earmarked opponent for Bron Breakker at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’. ‘The Visionary’ affirmed on Raw this past Monday that he’s going to kill the Vision while taking shots at every member of that faction.
It was Breakker who turned on Rollins on Raw after Crown Jewel last October. The angle was designed to write Rollins off TV, as he needed time for surgery after having torn his rotator cuff. Things were looking real dicey for Rollins back then in regard to whether he would be ready in time for WrestleMania or not.
However, the former 6-time world champion proved his doubters wrong and made his emphatic return at the Elimination Chamber and cost Logan Paul inside that sadistic structure. It appeared as if Rollins vs. Paul would be the play for WrestleMania, which the fans weren’t high on.
The Stamford-based promotion is clearly awaiting a confirmation on Breakker’s status to insert him in a feud with Rollins. It got even more obvious when Brock Lesnar came face-to-face with ‘The Visionary’ on Raw only for Rollins to step aside for Oba Femi.
Update on Jelly Roll’s WrestleMania 42 plans
It was reported after last week’s SmackDown that Jelly Roll was planned for a match at WrestleMania 42. The 3-time Grammy-winning artist joined Miz TV as a guest. What started off as a pleasant conversation between Miz and Roll went south in no time when ‘The A-Lister’ asked the singer-rapper to appoint him as his wrestling mentor. Roll snapped at the former WWE Champion trying to steal credit for his redemption story.

The Tennessee-born musician even called Miz a locker room loser before Kit Wilson interrupted them. The former Pretty Deadly member asked The Miz to stop wasting his time on Jelly Roll.
Wilson took offense to Roll’s face tattoos, the criminal charges, and the brand that he built based off bad behavior. The English wrestler was disgusted at Roll imitating his hip swivel taunt at a time when he was trying to have a serious conversation.
Wilson ultimately deemed Roll toxic and shoved him away. The singer-rapper wanted to get his lick back on Wilson, but he instead clocked The Miz when Wilson got out of harm’s way. Roll pressed at Wilson, who escaped the ring as quickly as he could. Roll is a man short in his beef with Miz and Wilson. Royce Keys, fka Powerhouse Hobbs, was discussed to back Jelly Roll up as per BodySlam.
But Dave Meltzer has now reported that it isn’t going to happen. The fans are predicting Danhausen to join Roll in his quest of combating the newly-minted pairing of The Miz and Kit Wilson at WrestleMania.
Danhausen has had some interactions with Miz of late after Nick Aldis asked ‘The Awesome One’ to take the peculiar AEW alum under his learning tree. Miz was cursed by Danhausen last Friday, which led to ‘The A-Lister’ getting punched by Jelly Roll.
