This performance garnered wild reactions from the NBA community.

The NBA community was visibly upset with the rookie’s performance. They took to social media to express their views on this. It’s important to note that, James has been dealt with a lot of criticism ever since he was drafted as the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

The Lakers rookie has the backing of his new head coach JJ Redick as well as his franchise’s GM Rob Pelinka. Hence, it remains to be seen how the 20-year-old will perform in the upcoming matches for the Lakers.
