Bronny James post media conference

Bronny James has made his debut in the NBA as the Los Angeles Lakers played in the summer league against the Sacramento Kings. He had a poor debut scoring just 4 points but showed the future blueprints of a great defender. James also wasn’t efficient as he went 2-9 from the field and went 0-3 from deep.

Following the game, James sat down with the media and reflected on his debut performance. He even admitted that he felt the pressure during the game and was also feeling some nerves before the game. James also stated that the biggest surprise was the crowd and the atmosphere in the Golden State.

Every first game that I step on the next level there's always some butterflies in my stomach, but as soon as the ball tips and we go a couple times down it all goes away and I'm just playing basketball.

James got the start from the Lakers and played for 22 minutes, grabbed two rebounds, and dished out two assists during his time on the court. These stats are identical to his college stats for the USC Trojans. In college, he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He can build his stats and game in the summer league and get better as he approaches his rookie season.

Bronny James might be one of the most followed second rounds in recent NBA history. We can see him play alongside his father for the Los Angeles Lakers. Till then Bronny has to improve and build his game as he plays in the summer league.

Bronny James played in his first game in the NBA in the summer league as a part of the Los Angeles Lakers. His father LeBron James has always been supportive and excited to see his son play in the NBA. His father saw the replay of his son scoring his first points in the league at the Team USA practice.

LeBron James was walking at the Team USA practice facilities when a reporter handed him a phone where he showed him Bronny’s first bucket. LeBron saw his drive to the basket and then got a layup to score his first points in the NBA. LeBron like a proud father even complemented the play.

C'mon man that's tough. That's tough. Get loose.

His father wasn’t around to see his first game in the NBA but Bronny had the Los Angeles Lakers coaches around him to support him. Bronny has a chance to improve his game in the summer league and work on his weaknesses. This will help him get minutes to play in his rookie season.
