Bronny James is hard at work preparing for the upcoming NBA season. While his father, LeBron James, is busy playing for Team USA in Paris, Bronny is training with NBA guards Darius Garland of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Jordan Clarkson of the Utah Jazz.

The trio was seen, in a now-viral video, working on their shooting, defense, and dribbling skills. This training session is beneficial for Bronny James as he gets to play against NBA-caliber guards and learn from them to boost his game and put an end to the endless criticisms he has received.

Bronny’s commitment to improving his game is evident. After a rough start in the NBA Summer League, he was able to turn his performance around, even earning a rare gift in the process, and show significant improvement in his final two games as he ended the NBA Summer League with 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and one assist per game.

Kiyan Anthony reacts to Bronny James’ NBA Draft selection

Kiyan Anthony, son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, recently shared his thoughts on the podcast 7 PM in Brooklyn about his friend Bronny James getting drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers. Bronny was selected with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft after one year of college basketball at USC.

Just to know that he started it, and now that I got a chance to like follow, not follow him, but get to where he’s at in the league. That’s fire. I texted him everything. We was on the phone. That’s really fire. Especially him playing with his pops that’s crazy. That’s so crazy to me.

Kiyan expressed his excitement for Bronny as he got drafted and that he’s looking forward to following in his footsteps. He also found it crazy that Bronny will be playing with his father, LeBron James.

Kiyan, who is going into his senior year of high school, is also making a name for himself in the basketball world. He’s ranked by ESPN as the 40th best player in the class of 2025 and is the top player in the state of New York, and hopefully, when he gets drafted it doesn’t turn out to be another case of nepotism.
