However, the youngster has faced quite a few hardships to be where he is now. One of them was a health scare last year which almost jeopardized his basketball career. The Men’s Health magazine featured him as its latest cover star and the Lakers rookie opened up on his ‘scary’ incident.

According to reports, he was found with a curable congenital cardiac abnormality following a series of medical examinations, which included a visit to the esteemed Mayo Clinic.
