LA Lakers rookie Bronny James made an honest admission regarding his horrifying health scare last summer ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James has been garnering some attention following his poor performances during the preseason. He has also been heavily criticized by the fans due to him being the son of the legendary LeBron James, with some branding his move to the NBA as ‘nepotism.’
However, the youngster has faced quite a few hardships to be where he is now. One of them was a health scare last year which almost jeopardized his basketball career. The Men’s Health magazine featured him as its latest cover star and the Lakers rookie opened up on his ‘scary’ incident.

According to reports, he was found with a curable congenital cardiac abnormality following a series of medical examinations, which included a visit to the esteemed Mayo Clinic. It was something of a mini-miracle that Bronny was able to play basketball again. He played for the University of Southern California the previous season.

Superagent Rich Paul is credited with helping steer Bronny James in the direction of an NBA career. Paul has stated that Bronny is capable of handling the pressure of expectations that accompany his last name. He gave this vote of confidence in an interview with ESPN’s Baxter Holmes.

On the other hand, both father and son recently shared an emotional experience during the NBA preseason when they shared the court together.
