Bronny James’ recent performances has fans bringing back receipts to NBA Champion’s sister
Anna Horford had claimed that Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James was undeserving on playing in the NBA.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James and Anna Horford
Ever since Bronny James came into the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers rookie faced criticism from quite a lot of people. Fans and media apart, there have been a few in the league who suggested that other prospects were denied a chance to play in the league.
Calls of nepotism were rampant and it needed some members of the media to intervene to stop that narrative. But during the early days of his NBA career, Bronny James‘ performances in the G League did not help matters as he continued to be trolled.
Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown then caused a furor when he seemingly suggested Bronny James was not a pro. He tried to clarify his position, but fans quickly ran with that narrative. To add fuel to the fire was his teammate’s sister Anna Horford.
She continued to claim that James Jr. took away the place of a deserving candidate. That tweet went viral, and she defended her position even when some fans asked who deserved the place that he apparently took.
Now the situation is vastly different. The Los Angeles Lakers rookie has been on a tear both in the G League, as well as in the NBA. Some critics have realized he has proven them wrong, but Anna Horford has not made a statement or tweet about it.
But fans did not forget. They brought back receipts of her tweet which she had deleted soon after it went viral. Fans want her to apologize in the same manner that Stephen A. Smith and others have done. But Anna Horford was not budging.
Anna Horford stands her ground
Fans tagged Anna Horford to posts which prove Bronny James has been lighting it up. They also commented on her X page to remind her of her original view of the Los Angeles Lakers star. But Al Horford’s sister stood her ground.
Lakers twitter is dying for me to respond to a comment about Bronny from November. I don’t owe anyone an explanation, lmao. There are so many more important things to be discussing right now. Some of you genuinely need to get lives. Great to hear he’s doing well in the G-league.

This post seemingly infuriated the fans. They felt she was using the James family name to gain more attention. Instead of acknowledging that she was wrong, she believed she did not owe anyone an explanation.
Anyway… I’ll let you all know what it’s like to hold Larry (again) in June 😉☘️

A while later she dropped another tweet suggesting she will let those fuming fans know what it feels like to hold the Larry O’Brien trophy again in June. She took this approach to try and get the final word in before the day ended.
Chris Paul proud of Bronny James’ growth
All of the discourse on X Anna Horford is facing is after Bronny James scored 39 points in his last G League game. That was after his career high in the NBA against the Milwaukee Bucks. But before all this, close family friend Chris Paul, was already proud of the rookie.
He’s been faced with all these things at this age. Oh, he ain’t that good. At this age, Bronny just keeps his head down and does the work. I think anybody that hates on that situation and got a chance to see that is basically just envious and jealous because to see a guy out there playing with his son, that’s wild.
Chris Paul said
The San Antonio Spurs superstar said this to Taylor Rooks at a Sportico event. Since this before James Jr.’s standout game against the Bucks, Paul was speaking based off what he has already seen. He was proud of how the Lakers rookie has been handling himself, especially with all the scrutiny around him.
