Bronny James ROASTED on SNL’s recap of Donald Trump vs Kamala Harris election race
Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James is catching strays amidst Donald Trump's win over Kamala Harris while debuting in the G-League.
Donald Trump's win over Kamala Harris sees Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James being referenced
The Donald Trump vs Kamala Harris race is all but over. But in that race, it became evident that the former president had a commanding lead over his opponent. As media houses recap the elections, SNL decided to give their own version, but surprisingly, they had Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James as a part of it.
Even though the official results are not out yet, Donald Trump surpassed the majority even before the final election day passed. This was a bitter blow to the Democrats, who hoped to win swing states in their bid to continue to be in power.
In fact, the deficit was so apparent that there was no option but for Kamala Harris to concede defeat. Saturday Night Live, or SNL in short, had to give their humorous take to it. On their program, Weekend Update, anchor Michael Che, in particular, decided to have a go at it.
The reference to Bronny James playing for the Los Angeles Lakers just as an extra was the one that caught the attention of basketball fans. So far, his rookie season has seen him fill out the clock more than anything.

It implied that even if the election officials stopped counting votes for Donald Trump, he would still win. Bronny James catching strays from nationally televised programs indicates a lot of people are following his days in the NBA.
Bronny James struggled in G-League debut
James Jr. did appear in the home win for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Toronto Raptors. But before that, he made his G-League debut with the South Bay Lakers. In the season opener, Bronny James and four other Lakers role players started for the affiliate.
They played well as a unit to win the game 110-96 against the Salt Lake City Stars, the affiliate of the Utah Jazz. But the 20-year-old did not have a game to remember. He scored the lowest among all starters at six points, way lower than fellow rookie Quincy Olivari, who finished with 28.
On top of those measly six points, he did steal the ball twice and blocked one shot. But the most embarrassing part of his game was five turnovers. He also missed all five of his three-point attempts and finished with a 20% efficiency from the field.
These are not confidence-inspiring numbers from any reference point. If anything, the son of LeBron James needs to up his play at every chance he gets. Otherwise, he will start to be a reference for being irrelevant. It’s not what his family or the Lakers organization hoped when handing him that guaranteed contract.
