CM Punk shocked the wrestling world with his return on SmackDown last night. His unexpected appearance to join Roman Reigns and The OG Bloodline has sent the WWE Universe into a frenzy. However, there are some people who are definitely not thrilled with the return of The Best in the World. One of them is Bronson Reed, who expressed his anger following the show.
Taking it to X, Reed reacted to CM Punk aligning himself with The OTC. Reed seemingly called out The Second City Saint, showing clear disdain for Punk’s decision to side with The OG Bloodline. Judging by his tone, The Auszilla might be plotting something dangerous for Punk inside WarGames as Survivor Series approaches.

Additionally, Reed was the first person Punk went after during the brawl on SmackDown, planting seeds for a future singles showdown. Given the recent social media activity of the Australian superstar, where he issued a warning to the former WWE Champion, the dynamic between the two stars will certainly be a highlight in the WarGames match.

Moreover, the field is now set for a 5-on-5 clash at Survivor Series in Canada. The Straight Edge Superstar will compete in his first match since Bad Blood, where he faced Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell. It will be interesting to see how the 46-year-old is going to stand against the brutal force of Solo Sikoa‘s Bloodline in just a matter of a week.

CM Punk’s return to save The OG Bloodline was an unexpected moment that came out of nowhere. While this move blew the roof off of the Delta Center, it raised multiple questions about why Punk could have decided to join sides with Roman Reigns. From permanently aligning himself with Paul Heyman to surprisingly going after The OTC, there could be multiple reasons for Punk’s involvement on SmackDown.
There are chances that The Straight Edge Superstar could become a permanent ‘Paul Heyman Guy’ in WWE moving forward. The two stars can once again align themselves for a considerable time in 2025.

Also, there is a possibility that Heyman and Punk could have some underlying plans down the line. Reigns abandoned The Wiseman to witness the tyranny of Solo Sikoa without any explanation.
