Bronson Reed has been presented as a monster since his WWE main roster debut in late 2022. Despite this, he has failed to create a lasting mask and has trouble emotionally connecting with the audience. Things may be about to change for the Adelaide-born superstar, as his beatdown of Seth Rollins on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw has made him an immediate fan favorite.
Bronson Reed recently made a post on X where he aggressively asked who was going to be his next victim. This line was a reference to Goldberg, who often used the phrase during his WCW and early WWE career. The 57-year-old was on a massive winning streak and used the phrase to call out his next opponent. The post by the Australian also featured a GIF of Garfield choking Jon Arnbuckle.
The latest episode of Raw featured Rollins confronting CM Punk after their interaction at SummerSlam. However, the Visionary was blindsided by an attack from Reed. The 38-year-old tried fighting back against the Australian. However, a Death Valley Driver and a couple of Sentons knocked him down quickly.

Reed hit the former Universal Champion with two Tsunamis before some referees and backstage officials stopped the beatdown. The 35-year-old obviously isn’t the kind to follow orders. He pushed through the officials, climbed back on the turnbuckle, and repeatedly hit the Architect with four more Tsunamis. Rollins was seen in excruciating pain and grabbing onto his ribs. He even coughed up blood in the ring. Meanwhile, the former NXT North American Champion sat atop the turnbuckle, flaunting his dominance.
Bronson Reed’s brutal beatdown was orchestrated to hide Seth Rollins’ real-life injury
In a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Rollins after his beatdown on the latest episode of Raw. Reportedly, this angle was carried out to hide a real-life injury that the former World Heavyweight Champion is currently dealing with. This likely means that he will be off TV for the upcoming weeks to take time off to recover.
Meltzer claimed that Seth Rollins was still not a hundred percent since his return. Although he is medically cleared to compete in the ring, he is trying to get in the best physical shape he can. His health issues are allegedly chronic in nature, and the former Shield member wants to be proactive in handling his issues.
It is unclear whether Rollins would be back by the next PLE. Even if he is, his feud would most likely be with Reed rather than CM Punk. This further helps WWE delay their inevitable match until a bigger show like the Royal Rumble or even WrestleMania.
