Bronson Reed has not been seen on WWE programming in over two months due to an injury he suffered. However, he is very active on social media, often tweeting out his live thoughts and opinions. The 36-year-old recently used his online presence to drop a teaser regarding his future in WWE.

Bronson Reed recently posted a highly ambitious tweet on X. He mentioned change and accompanied this message with a date, 1st February 2025. As many know, this is the date for the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE, set to emanate from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The WWE Universe flipped out, speculating that the Australian may finally be returning at the 30-man match.

Unfortunately, Reed making a return so soon is highly unlikely. He recently detailed the horrific nature of his injury and said that not only would he be missing the Rumble, but also miss out on WrestleMania. Now, he could just be making an appearance at the PLE without competing in a match. Alternatively, this date could mean something totally non-wrestling related. Perhaps he is about to enter the next stage of his recovery process on that day.

Reed has only ever entered one Royal Rumble match throughout his career. He entered as number 16 in the 2024 edition of the men’s match and survived for 10 minutes and 39 seconds. He also has an elimination under his belt, taking out a returning Andrade. However, he has had success with a similar stipulation in the past. He did win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale in 2024.

Bronson Reed sends a message to Jacob Fatu following Saturday Night’s Main Event

The recent Saturday Night’s Main Event featured Jacob Fatu going one-on-one with Braun Strowman. During the match, the former Universal Champion started running freight trains around the ring. He sent his opponent crashing into the barricade and into the commentary desk. However, the Tribal Wolf countered the third charge and hit a Samoan onto the announcer’s desk.

Jacob Fatu got his opponent back into the ring and forced him into a corner. He started hitting the Monster Among Men with repeated hip attacks, crushing his head into the turnbuckle. The match official tried to get him to stop, but the former MLW star threw him out of the ring, leading to a disqualification. Nick Aldis and other WWE officials rushed to the ring, but the Samoan started throwing steel chairs at the security.

By this time, the former Universal Champion was busted open and seen bleeding profusely. This did not stop the Samoan Werewolf, who hit Strowman with repeated moonsaults. This entire segment was highly reminiscent of Bronson Reed’s vicious attacks on superstars like Seth Rollins and R-Truth. The Australian brought up this fact but said that he was a fan. In another tweet, he said that he was often imitated but never duplicated.
