The men’s WarGames match at last weekend’s Survivor Series PLE defied fan expectations with its exhilarating action. One of the participants, whom some might even hail as the night’s MVP, was “Big” Bronson Reed. He mustered up the courage to attempt an outrageous Tsunami off the top of the cage on Roman Reigns atop a table. The OTC shall be grateful to CM Punk for pulling him out of harm’s way in just barely.
That breathtaking offense from Reed resulted in an ugly-looking landing, as the 36-year-old even twisted both of his ankles. PWInsider is now reporting that the superstar in question is likely to undergo surgery next week, as the outlet has heard rumblings of it from WWE talents themselves. That must be devastating to Reed, who was on the run of his lifetime.
The Auszilla had previously confirmed the injury via an X post. He brazenly claimed that injuries are temporary, but the moments stay forever. Had Bronson not risked it all, the WWE Universe would’ve been deprived of his exploits. Solo Sikoa was uber-confident about his choice of Bronson Reed being pivotal to the annihilation of the Roman Reigns-led OG Bloodline.
However, OGs’ missing piece of the puzzle was CM Punk, who stepped up at the request of his good friend and former client Paul Heyman. After the match, Punk hugged Heyman and reminded The Wiseman of the favor that they’d talked about.
The Best in the World affirmed that he’d ask for it whenever he felt so. There was another injury reported from the men’s WarGames madness. Jimmy Uso broke his toe after splashing Jacob Fatu off the apex of the caged structure.
WWE announced yet another injury from WarGames match at Survivor Series on SmackDown
This year’s men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series had a trinity of injuries. The third one wasn’t discovered until WWE went on air with SmackDown last night. Michael Cole announced on commentary that apart from Bronson Reed and Jimmy Uso, Tonga Loa also bore the brunt of the unmatched brutality inside the cage.
Loa suffered a torn bicep after CM Punk unloaded on him with a metal toolbox. He would be out of action indefinitely. And it has the fans up in arms, in a sarcastic way. For what it’s worth, he’s a former WWE tag team champion with Tama Tonga. However, Loa didn’t actually win it.
Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga outgunned Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano of DIY a few months ago on SmackDown. Shortly after, Fatu relinquished the title at the behest of Solo Sikoa and gave it to Loa instead. However, the new Bloodline members were taken down by The Motor City Machine Guns.
