Nicknamed the “Flash,” Myles Garrett often demonstrates why he earned that title. That’s because the Cleveland Browns’ star pass rusher was busted by the police for overspeeding last month.

According to police records and a report by Ed Gallek and Peggy Gallek of FOX News, the police stopped Garrett after he clocked 94 in a 70-mile/hour zone. He was pulled over on February 21, around 1:35 a.m., while en route back from the Miami University of Ohio basketball game against Bowling Green.

Even though Garrett was speeding, the police let him off with just a ticket, noting that he was “kind and cooperative.” That said, the two-time Defensive Player of the Year has to appear on the court on March 10 or pay a fine in order to close the case.

Needless to say, Garrett should be able to afford the money without breaking a sweat. He has earned over $150 million since entering the league as the 1st overall pick in 2017. He signed a four-year, $160 million extension with an average salary of $40 million/year before the start of last campaign.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com noted that Garrett has now been involved in nine speeding incidents since 2017. Back in 2022, Garrett was involved in a major crash that totaled his Porsche.

Garrett is usually a private guy, except when it comes to showering his girlfriend Chloe Kim with love. Before flying to Italy to compete in the Winter Olympics in Milan, Kim, an Olympic snowboarder, received a custom pink Ford Bronco from her boyfriend, complete with her initials, CK, embroidered on the seats.

Garrett showed up at the event wearing a Chloe Kim-inspired T-shirt, which she confirmed she had bought for him. The tagline read, “I [love] my super hot, beautiful girlfriend, so please stay away from me.”

According to Sporting News, Kim had to settle for a Silver medal in the Women’s halfpipe after a disastrous final run. Garrett wrote a special message as a tribute to her hardwork.

Garrett wrote

Kim replied

No one knows exactly when they first met, but Garrett and Kim were first seen together at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo in May 2025. It’s generally believed that they started dating soon after.

Garrett played 17 games for the Browns last season. He racked up 6 combined tackles, a league high 33 TFLS, 3 forced fumbles, 1 pass deflection, and broke the previous NFL record by logging 23.0 sacks.
