Deshaun Watson finds himself in fresh new trouble just a day after losing the opening game of the 2024 season to the Dallas Cowboys. The Cleveland Browns quarterback is being sued in Houston, Texas, for s**ual a**ault, infliction of damage, and s**ual battery.

According to Pro Football Talk, a woman who identified herself as Jane Doe filed a complaint that was similar to Watson’s previous cases from 2021, for which he served a ban from football for quite a few games. Jane Doe told the police about an incident that occurred in December 2020.

Watson was still part of the Houston Texans back then, and it was peak Covid pandemic times. Unlike the other cases where the victim accused him of asking them to massage him, the plaintiff revealed they scheduled a date.

When Watson couldn’t find her address, he called her over the phone and yelled at her until she guided him to the correct location. The woman was inside the bathroom finishing her makeup. She walked into the living room only to find Deshaun Watson completely naked and facing down on the sofa.

The threatening tone in which Watson yelled at her was still fresh in Doe’s memory. She refrained from trying to make him angry and gave in.

Doe thus tried to appease Watson by rubbing his back rather than his buttocks. Watson began insisting, again, that she focus on his glutes. Seemingly frustrated that Doe would only rub his back, Watson then turned over, revealing an erection.

Deshaun Watson’s season gets murkier, again

Florio added that after Watson asked the plaintiff to rub his buttocks, he grabbed her and partially undressed her, exposing her private parts. Then he proceeded to s**ually a**ault her and did so for a few minutes before she managed to outmuscle Watson and run away from the spot.

Jane Doe quickly ran to her dresser to grab a heavy piece of decor for self-defense, and yelled at Watson [to] get out of her apartment. Enraged, Watson stormed out of Jane Doe’s apartment.

The plaintiff filed a lawsuit against Deshaun Watson and is represented by Tony Buzbee, who was also in charge of the previous cases against the 28-year-old. During the investigation, the NFL banned Watson for 11 games shortly after he joined the Browns in 2022.

Watson signed a record $230 million guaranteed contract with the Browns, who gave up first-round draft picks in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as the Browns’ third-round pick in 2023 and fourth-round picks in 2022 and 2024. Since then, he has thrown 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
