Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes hilariously commented on former teammate Scott McTominay’s social media post, following his goal against Portugal. The United man poked fun at the Scottish international after he scored a goal on the Portuguese’s birthday.

Scotland had put on an impressive display against Portugal, but suffered a last-minute defeat against their rivals, losing 2-1. Scott McTominay was the star of the match for the visitors, scoring the only goal for them in the early 7th minute of the match, thanks to a brilliant assist from Kenny McLean. However, birthday boy Bruno Fernandes struck in the 54th minute, to level the score for the home side, before Cristiano Ronaldo came off the bench to score a late winner.

He also thanked the away fans at the Estadio da Luz stadium. Responding to it, former teammate Bruno Fernandes cheekily commented that he missed him after his recent exit, but was upset as the 27-year-old had scored against his national side, on the very occasion of his birthday.
