Bryson DeChambeau once again spoke highly about Donald Trump. The 2-time major champion recently visited the White House. During this, he would hail the United States President as a “great golfer” and call him a “better human being.”
The LIV Golfer has a good relationship with Trump. Last year, he uploaded a “Break 50” video with him on his YouTube channel. He was also present during the election victory celebrations of the 79-year-old in November 2024.
Trump, who is an avid fan of golf, has many times played alongside the Crushers GC captain. During the recent Ryder Cup at Bethpage Course in New York, Trump would meet with the United States. He would wait outside for DeChambeau and shake hands with him before the afternoon session on Friday.

During his recent visit to the White House, Trump would call DeChambeau on stage after highlighting his achievements. The 2-time U.S. Open Champion then lauded the skills of the 45th and 47th US President and called him a “great golfer.”
He’s a great golfer, better human being… we’re all so lucky to have him as the President of the United States.

As DeChambeau continued talking, he expressed that he was close to crying. Trump would then share a laugh with the 32-year-old and claim that he makes other people “cry“, referring to his recent triumphs on the golf course.

This meeting of DeChambeau with Trump comes a few months after he was appointed as the Chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. This council revived the historic Presidential Fitness Test, which aims to boost the fitness of American Youth and Adults through advisory roles, new strategies like the National Youth Sports Strategy (NYSS), and promoting physical activity.
Bryson DeChambeau recently commented on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf reunification deal
It’s been two and a half years since the golf merger between the PGA Tour and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia was announced. Despite several talks, nothing concrete has taken place. Recently, Bryson DeChambeau commented on this matter.

In June 2023, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan and PIF governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan shocked the golfing world when they came together and announced a merger deal between the two bodies. This deal would see the golf world reunite after it was left divided following the formation of LIV Golf.
DeChambeau was one of the high-profile names who left the tour to play for LIV Golf on a big money contract. Earlier this year, things looked to be progressing when President Donald Trump intervened in the deal. However, nothing has taken place yet.
While speaking to Fox News recently, Bryson DeChambeau expressed that he does not believe something will happen soon.
Man, I wish something major would happen, but I don’t think it’s going to in the immediate future. I think there are too many wants on both sides and not enough gives on the other. We’re just too far apart on a lot of things. It’s going to take some time.
Bryson DeChambeau said as per Fox News
These words from DeChambeau also come after LIV Golf decided to make a massive change in its formation. From the 2026 season, the PIF-backed tour will play 72 holes and give up its 54-hole format, which drew severe backlash from fans and experts.
