The NASCAR vs 23XI & FRM charter lawsuit witnessed a latest set of drama recently, with the former winning in the appeal court. They won the appeal against the injunction that forced the sanctioning body to let the team race as full-time sides. This has put the teams in situation here they might have to run as open teams. 23XI Racing driver Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick has addressed the situation.
The duo was asked about the current situation in the Michigan International Speedway race weekend, and they came prepared. Bubba Wallace said that everything is good with the team and asserted that he won’t be addressing the situation directly, as his boss Denny Hamlin, who won the race at MIS, will comment on this in the right moment.
Everything’s great. You know the answer already. You can let Denny [Hamlin] comment on that stuff. You’re not going to get an answer that you want to hear from me.
Bubba Wallace said via Frontstretch.
His No:45 Toyota Camry teammate Tyler Reddick also had a similar answer on the question. He refused to give any direct answer to it and asserted that his only focus is on working with the team to field string cars and secure wins in the Cup Serie races, which is the why they signed him from Richard Childress Racing.
I’m just going to keep doing my part to try and show up as prepared as possible and continue winning races.
Tyler Reddick said.
What did Denny Hamlin say about the lawsuit saga?
Since the duo put the pressure of addressing the situation on their boss Denny Hamlin, what he said about it? Well, the JGR veteran asserted that they are fighting make the current NASCAR system fairer and the litigating will end producing a better result for everyone involved.

We are fighting for a fairer system for everyone. While it’s 23XI/Front Row versus NASCAR in this litigation, this is for the drivers, the teams, the fans, everyone. I can promise you, the end result of this could be that it is better for everyone in the future and that’s what we want is just a fairer system for everyone.
Denny Hamlin said.
He then pointed out that the situation is pretty complicated at the moment and it is going to be very hard to keep up for them. Once the trial start on Dec-1, he believes the teams will have their day on the court, and the mystery around it will slowly reduce for everyone to understand.
I understand it’s very complicated. There’s so many motions and stuff. I get it, it’s very hard to keep up with. There will be a day — Dec. 1 — where we’ll have our day in court and I believe people will be more educated about what this fight is all about.
Denny Hamlin added.
The comment from the veterans shows though the appeal court verdict is pretty big setback, they are not ready to give up and are determined to make a comeback. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the team.
